In New Orleans, King Cake isn't just a desert—it's tradition. It’s debated, defended, and deeply personal. To celebrate Mardi Gras '26, we’re bringing three of New Orleans’ most iconic King Cakes to NYC for an exclusive two-day pop up at our Meatpacking Flagship.


Haydel’s is a third-generation, family-owned New Orleans landmark—a true institution since 1959. They’re best known (and loved) for crafting some of the best traditional King Cakes in town. Hand-braided with cinnamon and sugar, each King Cake is topped with fondant icing and finished in iconic purple, green, and gold.


Ingredients: 

Dough: Enriched wheat flour bleached (flour, sugar, water, whole eggs, yeast, palm oil, dextrose, contains 2% or less of: beta-carotene (color), cornstarch, defatted soy flour, leavening (baking soda, monocalcium phosphate, sodium acid pyrophosphate), mono-and di-glycerides, potato flour, preservative (sodium propionate), salt, sodium stearoyl lactylate, soybean oil, vital wheat gluten, wheat starch, whey

Icing: Sugar, water, corn syrup, margarine (soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, water, mono- and di-glycerides, soy lecithin, sodium benzoate (preservative), artificial flavor, beta carotene (color), vanillin (flavor)
